Geographe Excavation and Underground Power recently completed a 400HV cable install in Greenbushes to connect the Talison Lithium mine camp to underground power and remove the diesel generator supply that was being used. Due to the ground conditions and site access a Vermeer 858 Trenching Machine was utilsed to complete the 1000m of open trench. This reduced the job duration down from 4 weeks to just 10 days. With 100% of the excavated material suitable as backfill.
